The Layton Walmart is pretty a nice place. They have good deals on fishing tackle. They also have a lot of wacky stuff I don't need. That said the prices are so low why wouldn't I buy a light-up hula hoop!
Always good to me. I train service animals. They know me very well, always are happy to see me and the dogs. Store staff is great. Always helpful. The managemebt bend over backwards at this store to get customera taken care of. Ive had the store manager go hunt down keys and dish up fish for me as others were busy.
We have been frequenting this store for years and this is the first time we left positive and impressed. Thank you...
What can I say-it's Walmart. Took my wife's vehicle in for an oil change here, after some time had gone by, we went back to the auto dept portion of this store, and the cashier said they "could not change the oil due to the stripped oil pan bolt." We immediately took it to our mechanic, he put the vehicle up and took out the bolt. Not a single solitary thing wrong with ANY part or piece of the oil change on the vehicle!! He got to change our oil, my disability won't allow me to change it, and he told me he had several.... not a couple or a few, but many other cars come in with the same problems, and other problems, from this Walmart. Chalk it up to them just NOT wanting to do it!! Our mechanic also said they are mostly too lazy there to do it, and some come out of there with more- and worse problems than before! Not enough oil put back in some cars, ruining the motors! No more for this place, I'll quit while I'm ahead with all our vehicles! Too bad they had to be so lazy and ruin some cars too!!
Unlike the past "years" tonight was exceptional. The cashier Maggie on Register 5 (I think) @ about 7:30 pm was courteous, positive and extremely helpful. Walmart needs more employees like her. She was diligent doing her job but we felt went above and beyond.
Went to exchange a broken hard drive. Man who got it for me refused to let me see it, and took a detour before going to customer service to get the exchange. Waited 10 minutes in line, and service was very understaffed. When I got the exchange, I apparently owed $7, for the exact. Same. Item. Clerk explained it was "sale price" well you'd think "it's the same item as it waa last week" right? Apparently not, as this one cost me $7. Very inconvenient, and although the man in service was nice, nobody back in electronics even wanted to help, and were distrustful when someone finally did.
