I probably won't go back. Not saying they aren't ok, just not for us.
Overall it was pretty typical of every other Chinese resteraunt which put it at 3 stars to begin with. They earned a 4th star from me for the quality and taste. I wil defiantly eat from here again.
I found a small bug in the rice... disgusting! When I brought it to their attention they agreed it was a bug but said it couldn't have come from their restaurant and called me a liar. Disgusting and bad customer service, hard to say anything good about this place.
I swapped out lomein for fried rice. I received only thinker bland noodles with (not joking) nothing else in them.... just noodles. No veggies no nothing. I poured soy sauce all over the top and tried to choke down a few bites. The sweet and sour pork as well as the broccoli beef where pretty generic. Teriyaki chicken was covered in sesame seeds, which was unexpected.
Besides the food the service was ok. No one really stood out as good or bad. The prices were average for Chinese. They do offer takeout which is what I will do next time.
I ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken and my wife ordered the Chicken Lo Mein. It was served with egg drop soup, ham fried rice and wontons.
The restaurant is clean and the service is great here. You can tell the employees value their jobs and want you to have a good experience. The food here is delicious and the servings are large. I always know I'll have leftovers for lunch the next day and I love it.
Really low quality food!!! Priced pretty average to competitors but nowhere near worth it. There are a few other choices in the area, I really wish I had picked another. $43 worth of food.... every one of us threw away about 3/4 because it was just bland and heavy. I am giving them 2 stars for the simple fact if us calling within 30 mins to close and them kindly taking our order.
After months of passing by and trying other Chinese resteraunts I decided to give them a try. The place had a typical Chinese resteraunt decor, seating and menu. Nothing really stood out so far.
My wife didn't like the Lo Mein so I ended up trading with her. I thought it was very tasty but wouldn't order it by itself again. It felt more like a side dish.
My husband and I have tried most of the Chinese restaurants near our house and this one is by far our favorite. Most Chinese restaurants will do a tofu with brown sauce and maybe a few other vegetable or tofu dishes. This place had a much larger selection of tofu dishes. If it's a sauce they put on meat they'll most likely have a tofu dish with it. I love their sesame tofu. It's absolutely delicious. We have served various meat dishes to friends and their food has always been a hit. The restaurant is clean and the service is always pretty quick. I highly recommend China Hill.
We both loved the rice, wontons and sweet and sour chicken. The rice was perfectly cooked and full of flavour. The wontons were fresh warm and melted in my mouth. The chicken was moist and had crispy outside.
