The staff is so friendly and professional! Dr Talbot is hands down the best doctor I have ever had...I'm 45 so I've seen ALOT of dentists....doctors are amazing! I had 6 crowns by Dr. Talbot. He worked very hard to ensure that my crowns were perfect! My only regret is that I am moving! I highly recommend this location.

They do not conduct business in a reasonable way at all. I paid off my procedure early with cash and they forgot to cancel my automatic payment from my credit card so I got double charged. Called and informed them and they said they would send a check. Sent it to the wrong address. Called and asked them about it after it had been weeks and they told me it was sent to the wrong address. I asked them if they could send a new one to the correct address and they said they needed the check before they could send a new one. If I had the old one that they sent to the wrong place I wouldn't need a new one! It has been over 5 months now and I still have not been reinbursed for the money that shouldn't have been taken in the first place. Very unprofessional.

Update! I went to woodland park dental and the tooth that I told dr Talbot was hurting and that I was worried may have a cavity actually has a cavity! He assured me after glancing at it a couple times that there was not one but woodland dental used a laser measuring device and found that there was in fact a cavity there.

I called in to get some basic information from the receptionist. The feedback I got didn't help at all. They were very rude and spoke to me as if I didn't understand anything. The lady I spoke with sounded annoyed and tried to get me off the phone quickly. She would not listen to what I had to say.

I have never written a review before but I feel that I have to write one for this place. First off I waited for over an hour after my scheduled appointment time before I was seen, which I am a pretty patient person so I waited, when I am sure most would have left, especially if this was their first experience. The woman that was doing all of my xrays and what not, was nowhere near friendly. She seemed very rushed and irritated, almost like I was a direct nuisance to her for making her do her job. Dr. Talbot is the dentist that saw me. He was very negative about my situation and shed no positive light on it what so ever, putting me into a panic and actually making me cry as I thought all my teeth were going to fall out and there was next to nothing that I could do about it. He also expressed his personal opinion about a lip piercing I had and told me several times I needed to remove it and his demeanor about it was very judgmental. On top of all this he touched my mouth several times with out a glove on and I actually flinched away once as it was gross to me. After he told me the work that needed to be done (a deep cleaning) another woman came in a spoke to me about pricing. There were a couple of things that Dr. Talbot had recommended as it would help but they were not covered by my insurance (or any insurance company from what he told me, as I have very good insurance and was confused as to why it wouldn't be covered) and were very expensive. The woman going over prices almost wouldn't take 'no' for an answer on these other non covered treatments. I had to tell her more than 3 times that I could not afford it and finally with a very judgmental attitude she said "Fine." and scheduled my appointment. I have since gotten a second opinion and it is no where near as bad as Dr. Talbot made it seem. I can have my gum disease reversed within a matter of months actually and my lip piercing is no where near my gums and has not effected my condition at all. Furthermore, I was going to call and cancel my appointment today but the office actually called me first to try to change my appointment to a further out date! Needless to say, I canceled and will not be returning to Layton Smiles. I originally chose this place because of all the great reviews so I had to post my terrible experience in case others run into the same horrid service that I got.

Dr. Talbot and his staff, are wonderful. Each time I come in they always go above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. I've always hated the dentist, until an emergency situation came up and I had to find one asap. I'm glad I went with Layton smiles, and even living 30 miles away I still wouldn't go anywhere else. Even if you don't have insurance, they find a way to work with you on a plan that you can afford.
