The food is ok. They are mostly known by their scones which are amazing. I would say that it is a good family environment. But it is not a really good place for a nice date. Just real cozy not high end.
The country fried steak and gravy was delicious as was the chicken soup. The potatoes were good but the veggies we're soft and bland, it didn't matter because it didn't really have room for them. The yeast rolls are huge and tasty!
The food here isn't bad. For the star rating I would expected more. It's a decent mom & pop diner. The scones are one of my favorite things in top of the nice people. For the wait time, only decent food, and seating arrangements though I don't usually dine here a lot.
Great food, reasonable prices. I'd love to see them in a larger building to accommodate the breakfast crowd. They do take out orders, but better to stay there and eat your food piping hot.
Good classic dinner food. We had friendly service. I had an omelette which was good, but the scone stole the show. Don't bother with toast or pancakes, get the scone. The hash browns weren't hash browns, they were fried potatoes, which were fine but not have browns. I recommend trying the S. O. S.
